For the whole family

The award as a “family-friendly accommodation facility” (four out of five possible stars) in Saxony says it all. One of our guesthouses, our “House of the family” is especially suitable for families. A child- friendly furnishing throughout the “House of the family” (tables, chairs, socket protector, baby phone, changing table, washing machine, dryer etc.) isstandard. The family flats are equipped with a single kitchen without oven and can be booked without meals. In addition, there is a large playroom and a lounge available. There is a large playground directly in front of the building.

  • Check-In: Your reserved room is available from 15.00 hrs.
    By arrangement also earlier.
  • Check-Out: 10.00 a.m., by arrangement also later.

Directly in front of the monastery grounds there is a large free parking space.

In the St. Franziskus Guest House there are two wheelchair accessible single rooms with shared bathroom, in the St. Clemens Guest House one wheelchair accessible single room and in the family home one wheelchair accessible double room. The rooms can be reached barrier-free and step-free via a lift.

At the reception there is a bicycle rental service where bicycles – including children’s and senior citizens’ bicycles – can be rented for a small fee.
Guests have the possibility to store their own bikes in a separate bike shed. You can also obtain the key for this at the guestreception.

You can rent inflatable boats from our cooperation partner, the Engemann family, Neißtalweg 5, 02788 Hirschfelde (Rosenthal district), telephone: 035843/2543. With them you can paddle from Rosenthal about 6 km through the romantic Neisse valley to the monastery Marienthal.
